Prof. Zhi-Ming Shao is committed to the clinical and translational research of breast cancer. He established an early screening and diagnosis process for the Chinese population, investigated molecular subtyping of triple-negative breast cancer, and carried out clinical trials to improve the prognosis of breast cancer patients. He established a “bench-to-bedside” research system that successfully translates basic research into novel clinical treatments. He has published nearly 500 papers about breast cancer research, including the BMJ, Lancet Oncol, Cancer Cell, Nat Genet, J Clin Oncol and JAMA Oncol, and have been cited for more than 10,000 times by the world’s medical literature.
