Prof. Rong Lin is the director of the Department of Gastroenterology and the Endoscopy Center at Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, National Changjiang Young Scholar and the principal investigator of the National Key Research and Development Program.

Prof. Lin is a national member of the Chinese Society of Gastroenterology, standing member of the Society of Tumor Endoscopy of China Anti-Cancer Association, and member of the International Advisory Board of The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Prof. Lin research focused on the clinical and basic research in the early diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal tumors. As the first or corresponding author, she has published 85 papers in top international journals like Gut, Gastroenterology, J Hematol Oncol and ENDOSCOPY. She was awarded the First Prize of Hubei Science and Technology Progress award, the Youth Science and Technology Award of Chinese Medical Association, and the Young Scientist Award of China Anti-cancer Association.
