Talk: Using mobile phone data in COVID-19 research
Dr Zhou was originally trained in clinical medicine in China and later graduated with a PhD from the School of Public Health of the University of Hong Kong. Dr Zhou worked as an Assistant professor at School of Public health in Shenzhen University since 2016. Her main research areas are infectious disease epidemiology with a focus on respiratory infectious diseases such as influenza and COVID-19. Her research involves investigation of the burden and transmission dynamics of infectious diseases, design and implementation of diseases transmission and intervention effectiveness studies in communities and hospitals, and using knowledge of underlying mechanisms to optimize the use of control measures.
