Dr. Morven Roberts is the Chief Executive of the Global Alliance for Chronic Disease.  GACD exists to specifically address the growing burden of chronic, non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and in vulnerable populations in high-income countries (HICs). With its focus on implementation research GACD seeks to provide the evidence necessary to reduce health inequalities and support evidence-based policymaking to enhance public health.  The GACD staff team facilitate research funding and capacity strengthening activitieson behalf of the international research funding agencies within the alliance.
