D’Arcy Williams, Programme Specialist, Nutrition and Child Development, UNICEF
D’Arcy Williams currently works as a Programme Specialist within the Nutrition and Child Development Section at UNICEF HQ. He has been supporting the development of UNICEF’s rapidly growing global portfolio on the prevention of childhood overweight & obesity in low- and middle-income countries, with a special focus on strategic advocacy and youth engagement. Prior to UNICEF, D’Arcy spent several years living abroad and co-designing, implementing, and evaluating community health programs across Senegal, Cameroon, Kenya, and Nepal. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He holds an MPP in Global Health Policy from the University of Cambridge, where he studied as a Gates-Cambridge Scholar, and an Honours BA in International Development Studies from McGill University.
