Dr Aqsha Nur is a public health physician working with the Global Diabetes Compact at the WHO headquarters. He coordinates the Technical Advisory Group on Diabetes and supports guideline development. He advised Indonesia’s Ministry of Health on the country’s first nationwide health screening programme and contributed to the development of artificial intelligence tools for diabetes risk screening. He is also a Doctor of Public Health candidate at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, focusing on the prevention and management of diabetic foot ulcers in primary care. He holds degrees from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Indonesia.
