Zebin Xiao, PhD, is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. His research focuses on tumor heterogeneity, the tumor microenvironment, molecular imaging, and precision cancer therapy. His work integrates multi-scale imaging, spatial omics, and functional modeling to characterize the spatial and temporal organization of tumors and identify imaging biomarkers with translational potential. His current research focuses on tumor ecophenomics, aiming to establish an imaging- and AI-enabled framework for systematic characterization of tumor ecological phenotypes and their relationship with treatment response. He is also developing image-guided and microenvironment-targeted therapeutic strategies, including engineered cellular therapies, to improve the precision and accessibility of cancer treatment. His research interests span hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, and other solid tumors.
