Prior to joining the eBioMedicine team in 2019, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher after completing a PhD in human genetics of childhood infectious diseases from Imperial College London (UK) in 2017. My research studies focused on the identification and functional characterization of single-gene disorders of childhood infectious disease. My passion for translational research has permitted my gaining a diverse background within the medical research field, ranging from public health to molecular diagnostics. I graduated with BSc in Biochemistry from University of Westminster (UK) in 2009.
