Jason Trubiano

Dr Jason Trubiano is an Infectious Diseases physician and Director of antimicrobial stewardship and antibiotic allergy at Austin Health, Melbourne, Australia. He also holds a position at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre as a physician in immunocompromised host infectious diseases and Coordinator of antibiotic allergy services. He graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (honours) and Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in Immunology. His infectious diseases training was undertaken in Melbourne, Australia, and he is a recent NHMRC PhD scholar at the University of Melbourne examining the impact of antibiotic allergy testing on antimicrobial stewardship. Dr Trubiano’s research interests include antibiotic allergies and the management of infections in patients with cancer.
